An Inspiring happening

My hubby shared an inspiring incident about “Sylvester Stallone”. Stallone started his acting career with minor and supporting roles. Once, he was inspired by “Muhammad Ali” fight and wrote the script ‘Rocky”. He was trying to sell the script with the intention of playing as a lead role. He was offered ransom money for his script but he was denied as a Hero. Our star was not tempted by the big amount and he turned down the offers. In other words, he was not ready to compromise the lead role for the money. He kept waiting for the opportunity and it did knocked. One film maker accepted to do his Rocky script and gave him the lead role.

We all know what happened next. The movie ‘Rocky’ was a super-duper hit. Sylvester Stallone become a renowned star. Also we know there were sequel movies too(Rocky II, III, IV). The bottom line from this incident: “Never give up and don’t  compromise your dream for small things. Also, Nothing comes for free.”

His inspirational story reminds me of one thing “It’s not about how hard you are hit by difficulties in life, it’s about how you get up and face it with passion, purpose and perseverance.
